This demonstration of the Shibari
Punishment Corset was presented by Mistress Francesca of Laced and Locked
courtesy of The Baroness at her Fetish Retinue on May 7, 2009 in New York
City. It is the first in a new line of Punishment Corsets to be offered
by Laced and Locked, designed and produced by Contour
Corsets (www.contourcorsets.com). Each Punishment Corset is designed
to offer a particular discomfort or torment. The Shibari is made
of layers of very rough burlap and a strong denim core. It becomes
very itchy to the wearer, and because is it fully lockable (as demonstrated)
the wearer cannot access the laces to adjust or remove the corset.
After several hours the chaffing and irritation can become unbearable,
then the punishment has begun. Note that in this demonstration that
no lacing guard is used, this again increases the discomfort of the corset.
The locking belt is itself locked to a hasp at the front of the corset
which is mounted through the heavy steel support and is a very strong anchor
point. There is no busk or front closure, so no escape is possible,
and only the keyholder can produce release.
